Rebates & Credits
This page lists only programmes we can point to on an official page today. Where a detail (an amount, an end date, eligibility this year) cannot be verified, it is marked as a placeholder instead of being invented. That caution is deliberate: a wrong rebate figure costs you real money.
The IRS has offered a credit for qualifying energy-efficient home improvements, including certain heat pump water heaters and efficient equipment. Read the current rules, percentages and dates on the IRS energy efficient home improvement credit page itself before planning around it, because this area of tax law has changed recently and may change again.
ENERGY STAR water heaters publishes efficiency guidance and listings for water heaters, which is the sensible starting point when comparing a standard tank, a high-efficiency tank and a heat pump water heater for a Thompson's Station home. The EPA WaterSense label does the same job for toilets, faucets and shower heads on the water side.
A heat pump water heater moves heat from the air around it into the tank, so it suits a garage or a generous utility space in Middle Tennessee, where it also gently dehumidifies the air it uses. In a tight closet it is usually the wrong fit. If a credit makes you consider one, let the space decide first and the credit second, and we will size and quote it honestly either way.
Brands We Service
We service and repair products from the brands above and many others. A name you do not see here is rarely a problem. Call (615) 235-9273 and tell us what is fitted in your home.
Questions Homeowners Ask
There has been a federal Energy Efficient Home Improvement Credit covering qualifying heat pump water heaters and certain efficient equipment. Eligibility, percentages and end dates change with tax law, so the only safe source is the IRS page itself, linked below, checked for the year you plan to install. We have marked the current position as a placeholder rather than print a figure that could be out of date.
Programmes at state, county and utility level change and are sometimes offered for limited periods. We do not list amounts we cannot verify today. Your water and electricity providers' own websites are the reliable check, and anything we find together during a quote, we will document for you.
WaterSense is an EPA programme that labels toilets, faucets and shower heads that use less water while still performing. It is not a rebate, but fitting labelled products lowers the water and hot water your home buys every day. The EPA page linked below explains the label.
We provide clear invoices describing the equipment fitted, which is the documentation homeowners generally need alongside the manufacturer's certification. For the credit itself, your tax preparer or the IRS guidance is the authority, and we will not pretend otherwise.
Ready When You Are
We will size it for your space and your water first, then point you at the official credit pages so your paperwork starts clean.
